Glen A Moore
1940 ~ 2012

Our caring and loving son, brother, uncle and friend, Glen A "Bud" Moore, 72, of Springville, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2012, in Provo, Utah, from natural causes. He will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him, as he touched many lives. He was born in Provo, Utah, to Glen and Blanche Duke Anderson Moore, June 25, 1940. He married Mary Lou Lear, in Provo, Utah and later divorced.

Glen graduated from high school in Hawaii and attended some college. When he was younger he worked as an auto mechanic for many years. After conquering alcoholism he worked at the Alcohol Recovery Center for a number of years in Provo. He moved to Fillmore and worked for Pictsweet where he then retired. He then moved to Springville to help care for his father.

Glen loved collecting coins, reading books, old fast cars and going to car shows. He was a big fan of Willie Nelson. He had a big heart and loved helping and giving to others. He would give you the shirt off his back, "but not his coke". That was "Bud".

He is survived by his father Glen Moore, 95, of Orem, son Lance (Jodi) Mecham, Henderson, Nevada (reuniting after 40+ years), four grandchildren, two brothers Robert Keola Moore, Eden Prairie, Minnesota, Kevin Brent (Gayla) Moore, Provo, Utah, three sisters Patricia Lee (Ron) Allen, Orem, Utah, Bonnie Jean Swartzwelder Howell, Moab, Utah and Lori-Lyn Moore Cruz, Pleasant Grove, Utah. He was preceded in death by his mother Blanche, sister Shirley Ann Moore Conway and grandparents.

Memorial services for Glen will be held Saturday, December 1, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at the Walker Sanderson Tribute Center, 85 East 300 South, Provo, Utah.
