Lawrence Christensen
1921 ~ 2013
Lawrence Christensen, 91, of Provo passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2013, in Provo, Utah. He was born February 16, 1921, in Provo, Utah, a son to Lawrence C. and Lacey Saby Christensen. He married Maurean T. Christensen, February 2, 1942, in Evanston, Wyoming. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple September 21, 1957.
Lawrence is survived by his four sons: Lynn (Judy) Christensen, Orem; Leon (Mickelyn) Christensen, Provo; Calvin (Shaunna) Christensen, Mapleton; and Gary (Shirlee) Christensen, Mapleton; also survived by 19 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Maurean and two brothers and one sister.
The family wishes to give a special thanks to Stacy Hales, with Sunrise Hospice, for her loving care of Lawrence.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 4, 2013, at the Walker Sanderson Tribute Center, 85 East 300 South, Provo, Utah. Family and friends may call at the Tribute Center from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the mortuary. Interment will be held at the East Lawn Memorial Hills Cemetery.
